Physicians Offering
MegaC
(San Francisco Bay Area)
Here is a list of doctors in the SF Bay Area who do megaC therapy
for infectious disease. MegaC therapy is high-dose vitamin
C administered -
(1) orally and/or
(2) intravenously by IV drip or
IV push.
Smart Life Forum, the parent organization of MegaC.org, is a study group for people who take responsibility for their own health and those they love. The Smart Life Forum, as an organization, does not take positions on the effectiveness or safety of any drug, supplement or other therapy. Nor does the organization recommend or make evaluations of particular doctors and health care providers. We do publicize therapies - as well as objections to therapies - when there are scientific reports which call out for attention and investigation by our members and by the public at large.
MegaC is a case in point. Tom Levy's book Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases and Toxins and articles by Klenner (1971) and Cathcart (1981) provide a considerable body of research evidence in support of their reports about effective use of the megaC therapy to cure acute viral diseases like hepatitis, encephalitis, herpes and also colds, flus, measles, mumps and the new SARS.
If they are right, megaC is the most important development in medicine since the discovery of penicillin. Like the discovery of penicillin, it would change the world. But only if the word gets out. Meanwhile, millions of people may suffer and die needlessly.
Below are some independent, science-based doctors who already
provide this therapy. Hopefully, the list will grow. Please
let us know of others. Keep in mind that Medicare and Medical
do not pay for megaC therapy.
Note - Read Tom Levy’s book "Vitamin
C, Infectious Disease and Toxins". Tell the doctor you want the Klenner protocol
– Klenner doses, Klenner spacing of doses and Klenner duration
of treatment (3 to 5 days). Then follow up with oral C to bowel
tolerance.
Robert Cathcart,
MD. Los Altos, Ca. (650) 949-2822
Dr. Cathcart is one of the world’s foremost authorities on megaC therapy. Since 1969, Bob has successfully treated 25,000 patients with megadoses of vitamin C. He has published several reports and is a true pioneer.
Tim Guilford, MD. Los Altos, CA. (650) 964-6700
Tim has years of experience providing megaC therapy - both orally and by intravenous drip. MegaC by IV is an in-office procedure. It takes 30 minutes to 2 hours. One sits comfortably in a stuffed chair, reads and chats with other patients. I happen to know that, recently, he treated shingles and acute facial herpes with dramatic and immediate results.
Jill Synder, M.D. (408) 779-5581 and Carl
Ebnother, M.D. and Effie Mae Buckley,
R.N. San Jose, Ca. (408) 363-1498 These three are at the
Choice Healing Center in South San Jose. They have years
of experience with megaC by IV.. Carl Ebnother, now 80, is
retired. Carl himself uses oral C (8-10 grams every two hours)
when he senses a flu coming on.
Bobbi Spurr, licensed physician’s assistant.
Aptos, CA. (831) 662-2997
Bobbi is a brilliant and inspirational healer and a favorite of the SLF. She has authority in virtue of her license and association to prescribe and to provide megaC therapies.
Raj Patel, MD and Graeme Shaw,
MD. Los Altos, CA. (650) 964-6700
These two doctors have excellent reputations and share an office setting with Tim Guilford above. They have not yet been contacted about inclusion on this list but they too have lots of experience with megaC and would be important resources.
Richard Kunin, MD. San Francisco, Ca. (415)
346-2500
Dick Kunin is a celebrity in his own right and rightly so. He is President of the Orthomolecular Medicine Association and research oriented.
Eric Gordon, MD. Santa Rosa, CA. (707)
524-9640
Eric is another ‘independent’ with a fine reputation and extensive experience in a practice that integrates the best of conventional and alternative medicine. (He is not to be confused with another excellent doctor, Gary Gordon, MD, who is not local.)
Tom Levy, MD. Colorado Springs, CO. (719) 548-1600
It can truly be said that Tom Levy wrote the book on megaC. He consults by phone for a fee. (One does not get rich writing books that challenge the establishment so please do not seek free advice. PJ) Free advice is on his website, www.peakenergy.com .
Randy Baker, MD and Cindy
Quattro, PA (831) 476-1886 These
two pioneers are also well-informed and experienced providers.
They are at the Pacific Center for Integral Health, 2955
Park Ave.,Soquel, CA. 95073,. Website: www.drrandy.org
Len Saputo, MD. Lafayette, CA (925) 962-3799
Len is highly skilled and experienced in the use of oxygen
therapies and megaC therapy for treatment of infectious disease.
He is at his Health Medicine Institute, 3799 Mt. Diablo Blvd.
ACAM Physicians.
Many doctors across the country provide megaC treatment for
infectious diseases. One good way to find them is to go to
the ACAM website for the Directory of Physicians.
www.ACAM.org
ACAM is the American College for the Advancement of Medicine.
Most ACAM physicians provide EDTA chelation therapy using IV
administration and many are equipped and experienced in IV
administration of megaC.
